Sanne: 'Ginger helped with my nausea during pregnancy'

At the beginning of her pregnancy, Sanne was often nauseous. 'Ginger tea and pieces of fresh ginger were a lifesaver for me,' she says.
Ginger is often mentioned for pregnancy nausea, and midwives are relatively positive about it within limits. However, it is wise to discuss its use with your own midwife, especially in larger quantities or extracts.
This is a personal experience. What works for one person may not help another, and pregnancy complaints should be discussed with the midwife.
